Django Reinhardt (1910 – 1953) is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. In the 1930’s, he developed a music style of his own: jazz manouche, hot club de France, swing manouche or gypsy jazz. On January 23 the legend would have celebrated his 112th birthday. To celebrate this, major international and Dutch names come together during Django Amsterdam to play the best gypsy jazz. The public is also invited to participate in workshops, jam sessions and a special family concert.
