Ears on wheels; talking coffee cups; alien electronics in a ball that is tossed around through the audience; a hobo that sounds like a distorted electric guitar: the new absurdist show Performia by the duo Perforator is a unique audiovisual spectacle. The hobo fuses with the scenery, movements become music, and an army of self-built instruments with ingenious live electronics comes to life.
Perforator builds bridges between music genres and art disciplines, with marvel as its motive. The duo consists of oboe player/composer and composer/inventor Akim Moiseenkov. In 2016 they made their debut at the Holland Festival.
