The guest appearance of Gino Vannelli has unfortunately been cancelled due to illness. Fortunately, The Jazz Orchestra has found a worthy replacement for Mr. Vannelli:
Rita Reys, ‘Europe’s First Lady of Jazz’. Fans and critics agree that Reys embodies the summit of vocal jazz in The Netherlands and, after 65 years of singing on stage, her delivery hasn’t lost any of its intensity. Dutch newspaper NRC wrote in 2008: ‘Her sense of timing is as strong as ever and with each concert she always performs with subtle shifts of accent.’
