No less than 50 clarinet players will perform together as part of the Dutch Clarinet Festival, with music by Richard Strauss and Oscar Navarro.
Bring 50 clarinet players together and have them rehearse for one day with conductor Jan Cober. The result is the Clarinet Choir. Together with the brand new clarinet soloist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Calogero Palermo, they will play a smashing concert at the Bimhuis.

DUTCH CLARINET FESTIVAL
From 7 to 10 April a new festival,
dedicated to the clarinet, will take place in Amsterdam. Top-class
artists from classical, jazz, pop and world music will come together at
Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ and Bimhuis, where they will be joined by
students, amateur players and audiences alike. The result: a melting pot
of clarinet enthusiasts from all over the world.
The Bimhuis restaurant

020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free
entrance).
