With their characteristic streak of curiosity, the three musicians of the Rembrandt Trio are continuously searching for innovative collaborations. This has led the trio down various paths of different musical worlds: the influence of the Middle East can be unmistakably heard and, at the same, classical music has found its spots in their oeuvre. A perfect fit in this picture is cellist Benjamin Glorieux. He is known for his musical open-mindedness and plays jazz and crossover with the same ease as classical music. This programme will showcase old and new music, jazz and classical music and influences from the Western as well as the Arabian world.
