On the opening night of our 50 years celebration month mayor Femke Halsema and the Gemeente Amsterdam suprised us with awarding BIMHUIS a Jubileumpenning. They described our venue as a home for musicians and jazz-lovers of all ages and praised our contribution to the jazz scene of Amsterdam and the development of young upcoming talents.
