Rita Reys
Rita Reys (born Maria Everdina Reys, 21 December 1924) is a Dutch jazz vocalist. She sang briefly with Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers in 1956 before returning to her home in the Netherlands. After the untimely death of her first husband (the drummer Wessel Ilcken) in 1957, she married the pianist Pim Jacobs with whom she made her greatest recordings.
